We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our fast-paced Manufacturing team. In this versatile Administrative position, you will manage day-to-day financial operations using Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks, handling high-volume Accounts Payable tasks alongside routine Accounts Receivable data entry.

This is a high-volume AP role that includes data scanning and entry. Finance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform full-cycle Accounts Payable processing, including invoice matching, data scanning, and high-volume entry.
• Assist the lead Accounting Assistant with daily ledger updates and month-end closing support.
• Execute accurate Accounts Receivable data entry and reconcile customer account balances.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to build custom tracking spreadsheets, run reports, and analyze financial data.
• Manage vendor files and enter incoming transactions using Quickbooks.
• Provide cross-departmental Administrative relief and clerical assistance within our plant facilities.
• Support inventory logging and cost tracking across our core Manufacturing workflows.

Skills / Qualifications:

• Prior experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a general finance environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable procedures and vendor payment cycles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data sorting, and formatting) and baseline Quickbooks software.
• Demonstrated experience handling high-accuracy Accounts Receivable data entry in a busy setting.
• Proven Administrative capabilities, organizational skill, and attention to detail.
• Exposure to the Manufacturing sector is a plus, though we are willing to train motivated candidates.
