Job Roles

Assists both dentist and hygienist chair side as needed. Provides accurate translation of communication of treatment and information between patients and providers. Charts diagnosis of providers, assists the front office as needed with charts, recalls, billing, x-rays and filing Completes all required documentation accurately, in a timely manner, and thoroughly in accordance with department standards; in addition, documentation complies with patients' insurance requirements. Maintains instruments and equipment (x-ray, hand pieces, vacuum system), sterilization, tray set-ups, unit stocking-preparations to facilitate efficiency, quality care with patient, and provider satisfaction. Performs other duties as assigned. Takes x-rays that are of good diagnostic quality, acceptable to providers and 3rd party payers.

Requirements

• Ability and means to travel as needed in a timely manner within San Diego County.
• DRIVER REQUIREMENTS: Requires an active Class C California driver's license, proof of liability insurance at $100,000, on vehicle used. No more than 2 points in past 12 months; No suspensions in last 2 years for moving violations; No DUI, reckless or felony Driving within 5 years. No license revocation in 7 years.
