Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on various Hospital systems and equipment as required to assure optimum efficiency, reliability and safety.
• Maintain full compliance with OSHA lock out / tag out safety practices.
• Consistently utilizes approved PPE for safety as required.
• Label equipment out of service and informs staff of back up equipment in a timely manner.
• Properly operate and respond to use of two-way radio communications in a timely manner.
• Assist other department staff and accepts additional responsibilities as given by department Manager.

What qualifications you will need:

• Competent in use of various hand tools, diagnostic and repair equipment.
• Ability to interpret blue prints/drawings.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Good written/oral communication skills.
• Familiar with basic NFPA, ASRAE Standards and the ability to learn JCAHO Standards and develop and implement new policies.
• Good Computer system skills required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A valid Tennessee driver's license required.
• Three years minimum Healthcare or equivalent experience required.
