Sign-on Bonus: $2,000

Position Summary:

  • Responsible for assessing and treating mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders.
  • Complete thorough comprehensive assessments for adults and children, as scheduled and/or needed.
  • Development and implementation of recovery-focused service plans, which include measurable objectives stated in appropriate terms.
  • Provide evidence-based brief and solution-focused individual, marital, family, and/or group therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, per agency standards.
  • Effectively communicate with related community service organizations to include presentations to the community, assigned.
  • Respond to crisis situations for current caseload, as needed.
  • Average caseload for full-time outpatient therapist is based on program and statutory requirements.
  • Able to meet standard agency expectations, based on an annualized target. (part-time target is prorated based on the number of hours worked)

Qualifications
  • MA/MS in Human Services field.
  • FL licensure required for specific positions.
  • Minimum two (2) years' clinical experience.
  • Experience working with both children and adults.
  • Knowledge and skills providing treatment to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Ability to evaluate patient needs and provide direct services
  • Ability to work effectively with staff, patients, community agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to care and treatment of individuals with psychiatric or phase of life problems; including overall treatment concepts and objectives.
  • Computer proficiency, attention to detail, and strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to sit for periods of time.
  • Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test.
  • Valid FL drivers' license, insurance, and safe driving record.
