Job Description

Job Title: OB
Location: York, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate : $329 - $354/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OB for a temporary assignment in York, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a OB:
• Practice in Maternal Fetal Medicine specialty within a clinic setting
• Work a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Provide night call and weekend call coverage (preferred but not required)
• Support a patient volume of approximately 25 patients per day within a 10-bed department
• Provide care for patients aged 18 and older of childbearing years
• Perform and interpret ultrasounds, including Level II targeted ultrasound and fetal echocardiography
• Manage high-risk conditions including pregnancy-induced hypertension and HELLP syndrome
• Manage diabetes (Type I, Type II, and gestational) in obstetric patients
• Manage cardiac disorders Class II or higher, pulmonary disorders, renal disorders, neurological disorders, autoimmune disorders, and hematologic/oncologic disorders
• Manage placenta previa/abruption and multiple gestation pregnancies
• Perform amniocentesis for genetic evaluation
• Provide ultrasound interpretation and consultative services
• Collaborate with a support team including RNs, Medical Assistants, and Advanced Practice Providers
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation
• Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Maintain active state licensure and DEA registration
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Meet minimum of 1 year of experience in the specialty
