Physical Therapist

Physical TherapistQualifications:Education: Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited Physical Therapy program (Doctor of Physical Therapy or equivalent).Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience within the last 3 years as a physical therapist.Experience providing direct patient care in an outpatient clinical setting.Experience evaluating musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic conditions preferred.License/Certification: Active, unrestricted Physical Therapist license issued by any U.S. state or territory.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross).National Provider Identifier (NPI) required.Other Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen.Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and establish individualized treatment plansProvide therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and patient educationDocument patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the electronic health record systemReassess patients and modify treatment plans based on clinical progress and functional outcomesSupervise and delegate appropriate treatment activities to the Physical Therapy AssistantCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support continuity of careEnsure compliance with DHA, Air Force, and MTF clinical policies and proceduresParticipate in quality assurance, infection control, and patient safety initiatives as required
