Travel ICU Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Travel ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit. The position requires a strong background in ICU nursing, critical care skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement patient care plans.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in Cerner.

Schedule

This is a night shift position from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with alternating weekends required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Must have prior experience in an ICU setting.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is required.
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility.
