As a Home Care Assistant, you'll build meaningful relationships while providing personalized, one-on-one care in clients' homes. Every day offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships that make a lasting difference every day.

What You'll Do

As a Home Care Assistant, you'll travel to clients' homes to provide personalized, non-medical care based on each individual's Care Plan.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Traveling to client's homes throughout the Messiah Lifeways Community
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, including the use of mechanical lifts when properly trained
• Helping maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
• Identifying and reporting safety concerns within the home
• Completing client documentation and visiting notes at the end of each shift
• Participating in care team meetings as needed
• Providing compassionate companionship while promoting each client's dignity, independence, and well-being
• Following all policies, procedures, and safe work practices

? Flexible Scheduling Options

Our Home Care Assistants provide care when our clients need it most. Shifts may be scheduled as early as 6:00 AM and extend into the late evening hours, depending on client needs.

Part-Time

• Minimum of 16 hours per pay period
• 8 weekend hours per month
• 4 holiday hours every other holiday

PRN

• Flexible scheduling based on availability and client needs
• Minimum of 8 weekend hours per month
• 4 holiday hours every other holiday
