Armed Security OfficerPay: $27.43 per hourJob Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Armed Security Officer to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is an important role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.Responsibilities:Patrol assigned areas and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or other illegal activitiesEnsure the safety of all individuals on the premises by enforcing security policies and proceduresRespond to alarms and investigate disturbancesMonitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activityComplete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate recordsProvide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concernsCollaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessaryQualifications:Valid security certificate/licenseFirearm permit requiredProven experience in conflict management and de-escalation techniquesKnowledge of surveillance techniques and proceduresPrevious experience in law enforcement or loss prevention is a plusSkills:Strong attention to detail and observation skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalismGood judgment and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamIf you are a dedicated individual with a passion for ensuring the safety of others, we encourage you to apply for this position.
