Claims Examiner to join our growing team in Garden City, NY ! The Sr. Claims Examiner position will manage an inventory of third-party bodily injury and property damage claims arising under a municipal insurer's automobile and general liability insurance policies. How You Will Contribute Managing an inventory of third-party bodily injury and property damage claims arising under a municipal insurer's automobile and general liability insurance policies Obtaining favorable claim conclusions through coverage determination, investigation, evaluation, communication, reporting, reserving, negotiation, and subrogation Demonstrating excellent skills in investigation, evaluation, communication, computer use, and time management Ability to work independently and effectively with clients, brokers, attorneys, and other departments Skills & Experience to be Successful Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred. Relevant experience handling third-party bodily injury and property damage claims Relevant experience and knowledge of business of claims adjusting and basic coverages Pay Range $85k - $100k Annual The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
