Vice President of Systems Architecture

To strengthen and scale systems architecture and mission assurance practices, the full-time remote Vice President of Systems Architecture & Mission Assurance will oversee the integration of software, AI/ML, and data capabilities while ensuring the reliability and security of mission-critical platforms. Key responsibilities Own the end-to-end systems architecture for mission software and data ecosystems, ensuring coherence and scalability Lead the mission assurance function, maturing processes for requirements management, design control, and operational readiness Define assurance approaches for AI/ML capabilities, ensuring outputs are reliable and suitable for operational contexts Required qualifications Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience 15+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience in systems architecture, mission assurance, or related fields Demonstrated experience architecting complex software-intensive systems in high-consequence environments Strong command of systems engineering lifecycle practices, including requirements development and verification Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance or higher required
