Forklift Operator and Site Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking candidates with 1 year of experience in office services to join our team in NJ! Ideal candidates will be ready to grow their career in facilities and office services and to take advantage of internal opportunities at IST Management for training and development toward advancement into management roles. This position will be responsible for fostering a professional and pleasant working environment by providing excellent customer service in the fields of general office services.

Hourly Compensation : $30.00- $33.00/hr USD

Hours: 7am - 4pm

Responsibilities

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for managing and performing business support services mail shipping and receiving conference room services and general office support . Additional responsibilities include:

• Directs and oversees site activities
• Operations & Logistics: Oversee shipping receiving inventory control and order fulfillment to meet daily customer and business demands.
• Team Leadership: Recruit train schedule and mentor warehouse associates managing performance and conflict resolution.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols conduct regular safety meetings and maintain a secure work environment.
• Hospitality: Ability to Set-up and Breakdown meeting rooms assist with A/V water cooler updating and replacement
• Equipment Care: Copiers Shrink Wrap Machine Forklift
• Responsible for a budget covering all business support operations
• Responsible for reporting metrics as requested
• Develops new procedures to improve the operation of the site(s) and to lower operating costs
• Manages department vendor relationships and contracts
• Manages trains and coaches employees and develops a work environment that promotes high motivation and customer satisfaction
• Tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of leadership and management experience in a warehouse distribution or logistics setting.
• Education: High school diploma required; a bachelors preferred.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Excel excellent multi-tasking abilities and solid financial acumen.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods work in varying warehouse temperatures and lift heavy materials (up to 5075 lbs).
• Working Knowledge of Forklift is a plus
