Ampace (???) is a global battery-technology company specializing in lithium-ion cells and systems for energy storage, data centers, and critical power. Our R&D pairs advanced cell chemistry with semi-solid-state technology to deliver safe, high-performance batteries at scale. This position is based at our R&D center in Xiamen, China.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, model, and analyze data across cell design, manufacturing processes, and testing.
• Develop machine-learning algorithms that surface patterns and drive design and process decisions.
• Partner with cell-design, process, and test teams to translate models into engineering value.

Requirements:

• PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Strong programming in Python and MATLAB.
• Hands-on experience developing common machine-learning algorithms.
• Eagerness to learn battery design, manufacturing, and testing; strong communication and a real sense of ownership.
