Licensed Practical Nurse - LTC

Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team for a 6-week contract with the opportunity to extend. Our facility provides a homelike atmosphere and encompasses a range of care services, including short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and a dementia unit.

The typical work week runs from Sunday to Saturday, with variable shifts available. We guarantee a 36-hour work week.

Our facility has a 72-bed capacity and a regular census ranging from 60-65 residents. We house residents in various units, including:

• Short-term rehabilitation and orthopedic care
• Long-term care
• Dementia care (non-locked but secure unit)

We also offer in-house physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech therapy (ST). Our facility is equipped with a beautiful courtyard for residents to enjoy during warmer months.

On our units, the staffing is structured as follows:

• Unit 2 (Rehab and Long-Term Care):
  • 1 RN and 1 LPN on AM and PM shifts
  • 1 RN on the night shift
• Unit 3 (Dementia Unit):
  • 1 RN or LPN on days and PM shifts
  • 1 LPN on the night shift

This ensures we always have adequate nursing staff across both day and night shifts, with a supportive ratio of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for patient care.

New team members are expected to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of their shift for orientation. Travel team members can utilize the front parking lot for convenience.

• No MMR or Varicella vaccinations required
• Wisconsin Department of Justice compliance is mandatory
• Covid-19 vaccination or exemption is required

Located on the edge of Chequamegon Bay of Lake Superior, the community offers numerous outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and biking. The local area also features a variety of dining and shopping options, from unique eateries to well-known franchises and charming antique shops.
