Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company box truck on regional delivery routes.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload products at customer locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Verify delivery paperwork, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate records.
- Plan and follow assigned delivery routes to meet schedules and customer expectations.
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or delays promptly.
- Assist with warehouse duties, loading, and unloading as needed.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card required.
- Previous box truck, delivery, or commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to safely navigate regional routes and manage delivery schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe driving practices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Frequent bending, reaching, climbing in and out of the truck, and material handling.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions during deliveries.
