CDL Class A Truck Driver

Arlington, WA | Full-Time | Home Every Night

Newell Corporation is seeking a safe, dependable, and customer-focused CDL Class A Truck Driver to support deliveries throughout Washington State. This position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with local routes that get you home every night. As a valued member of our team, you'll play a critical role in delivering products safely, maintaining compliance with transportation regulations, and supporting our commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

As a CDL Driver at Newell Corporation, you will:

• Safely operate commercial vehicles for deliveries throughout Washington State
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is safe and operational
• Follow all DOT, state, federal, and company safety regulations
• Safely transport and secure cargo using ropes, chains, binders, covers, and other approved methods
• Inspect loads to verify cargo is properly secured before transport
• Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and vehicle service records
• Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading areas safely and efficiently
• Obtain signed delivery receipts and bills of lading
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, and maintenance concerns promptly
• Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, winches and hoists, overhead cranes, jib/boom cranes

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience OR completion of a recognized trucking school training program
• Safe driving record
• Ability to operate air brake-equipped commercial motor vehicles
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screening
• Current DOT Medical Certification, or ability to obtain one

Pay : $24-$31/hour

Work Schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday

Physical Requirements

The physical demands listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:

• Sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, and navigate various surfaces including pavement, gravel, and stairs
• Frequently lift, move, and carry materials weighing up to 40 pounds
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment safely
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind
• Maintain the ability to judge distances and safely maneuver vehicles and equipment
• Effectively communicate with coworkers, customers, and shipping/receiving personnel

Work Environment

This position involves a combination of highway driving, customer delivery locations, and industrial warehouse/manufacturing environments. Noise levels are generally moderate with occasional exposure to high traffic noise and active industrial settings.
