Design Release Engineer

Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated professional to support the design and development of rocker moldings, with additional responsibility for body scope oversight across related components and systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of how to design and release injection molded plastics automotive systems components.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in exterior systems design and release.
• Knowledge of North American legal requirements for rocker molding systems.
• Understanding of the Ford design and release process and Ford GPDS.
• Experience managing or coordinating body scope oversight across cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Support rocker molding design and development.
• Provide feedback during feasibility checkpoints.
• Track program timing, part maturity, and issue resolution across the body system.
