Why This Position is for You If you like variety in your workday and want to be at the center of how a production line actually gets built, this role is for you. You’ll split your time between hands‑on manufacturing and materials kitting—picking parts, verifying accuracy, and staging kits so the line keeps moving, then jumping in to assemble, repair, and troubleshoot aviation ground support equipment. You’ll work in an AS9100‑certified environment where attention to detail matters, your judgment is valued, and no two days look the same. This is a great fit for someone mechanically inclined who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys problem‑solving, and wants their work to have a visible, direct impact on what ships out the door. Key Responsibilities Pick materials and components from inventory against work orders and job packets released by Production Control, verifying part numbers, quantities, and revision levels before delivering to the line Stage and deliver kitted materials to the correct production line positions at the right time; return unused or excess materials to inventory and update ERP records accurately Communicate material shortages, discrepancies, or substitution needs to the Supply Chain Technician and Supply Chain Manager; maintain organized and clearly labeled kit staging areas on the production floor Manufacture, assemble, and repair a variety of aviation ground support equipment in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, and work orders Set up and operate hand tools, power tools, and machine tools required for assembly Apply mechanical skills and hands‑on problem‑solving to determine the most effective methods and tools for each job; inspect own work for accuracy and quality prior to formal inspection Perform preventative maintenance on shop equipment and facility items as directed; document maintenance activities and elevate recurring issues to the Manufacturing Manager Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager to support production and business needs Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Experience with general hand tools and mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment Ability or willingness to learn to read engineering drawings and schematics Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly Strong attention to detail and accuracy in parts picking, verification, and documentation Reliability is a must, willingness to learn and adapt to new requirements and environments Willing and able to follow required policies (i.e., Drug Testing, etc. as required) Valid US driver’s license Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a kitting, materials handling, or stockroom role 1+ year of forklift operations experience Familiarity with AS9100 quality management standards Paid Time off Military & Parental Leave Medical Vision Basic Life Voluntary Life, Short Term and Long-Term Disability options Company 401k with up to 3.5% Employer Match AeroCore Technologies LLC is growing at a rapid rate; with forecasted growth to over 100 employees within the year.
