Commercial Relationship Manager II (Agriculture Lending)

Position Summary The Relationship Manager II is responsible for managing and maintaining borrowing relationships. The role develops new and existing business through calling programs and cross‑selling bank services, maintains loan quality, generates fee income, approves loans within authority, and presents loans for committee approval. Duties & Responsibilities Develop new business and prospects, generate business loans through referrals, business calls, and community involvement. Analyze customers’ financial data, structure, and negotiate credit transactions; perform ongoing credit management. Service existing customer relationships to maximize profitability. Pursue repayment of loans and contact customers with past‑due or overdrawn accounts. Detect problem loans early and generate reports for management of weak and criticized loans. Assist other lines of business with business development. When applicable, support leadership in the management of Commercial PMs and/or RMs, serving as a resource to associates and acting as a trainer/coach. Education & Experience Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong sales and customer service skills. Analyze and interpret numerical data. Analyze and solve complex problems, making decisions based on advanced technical concepts. Make independent difficult decisions within the Bank’s loan policies. Originate new procedures and approaches to problems. Perform duties under frequent time pressures. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Requires 5+ years of banking, finance, or sales‑related experience. Agricultural experience required. Six months or more credit analysis experience required. Must know Microsoft Office. Compensation & Benefits Salary offered is based on factors including job duties, qualifications, experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance. Base Pay Range: $150,000 - $200,000 per year.
