License: State Licensure - RN Required
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support Certification - BLS Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support - PALS Required
Must-Have:
- Previous experience in imaging services, Interventional Radiology, cath lab, or critical care.
- Ability to work with bodily fluids and substances.
- Ability to handle emergency or crisis situations.
- Ability to assist with lifting, supporting, maneuvering, and adjusting the position of patients weighing over 200 pounds.
Description:
The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Interventional Radiology specialty. Candidates must have strong critical care skills and previous experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab Nursing. The role requires making fine discriminations in sound and handling emergency situations. The nurse may be subject to varying and unpredictable situations in a high-risk environment. Candidates should have the ability to contact patients under a wide variety of circumstances. Interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy among others. All certifications must be up to date. Compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary. The position entails adhering to safety standards and regulations while ensuring high-quality patient care.
