Our biggest priority is providing outstanding customer service & revolutionizing the industry through the use of the latest technology.Job PurposeIn your role as a Container Delivery Driver you will be picking up and delivering varying sizes of containers to different customers accounts.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties include but are not limited to:Performs pre and post trip inspections of truckOperates truck in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal lawsMounts and dismounts a heavy-duty truck many times each dayOperate a Moffett (forklift truck) to load and unload containersCompletes assigned residential route daily, leaving the customer’s location free of debrisProfessionally communicates with customers as neededNotifies Route Manager/Dispatch of any accidents, injuries, property damage, or any other incidentsNotifies Route Manager/Dispatch of any service interruptions such as closed lots, blocked containers, safety hazards etcIdentifies and reports all containers in need of repair/replacementAttends training programs, briefings, and meetings as requiredCommunicates customer requests to Route Manager/DispatchImmediately communicates mechanical problems to Mechanic and SupervisorMaintains cleanliness of vehicleMaintains professional appearanceThe successful candidate profile includes:Must possess a valid Chauffer's LicenseHigh school diploma or GED preferredAbility to work 10-12 hour shifts, including some SaturdaysAbility to use a tablet to receive work ordersMust be able to pass criminal background check, physical and DOT drug screenMust have safe driving record, including no avoidable accidents in the past five yearsMust have ability to communicate professionally with customers, dispatch and internal customer serviceMust be able to sit, kneel, crouch, stoop, crawl, balance, hear, talk and smellMust be able to lift up to 75 poundsMay be required to work in emergency situations #J-18808-Ljbffr Priority Waste Resources Llc
