Job Summary:
Pediatric Respiratory Therapist in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric patients, including assessments, treatments, and procedures as prescribed within the scope of practice. The role requires evaluating patient needs, operating ventilatory equipment, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal respiratory health outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in respiratory therapy, valid state licensure, and at least 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy or a related field.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pediatric respiratory care and proficiency with advanced respiratory equipment.
• Additional Information: Provides respiratory treatments, conducts patient assessments, operates ventilatory and diagnostic equipment, performs procedures such as suctioning, chest physiotherapy, and arterial puncture, and maintains accurate records. Performs CPR according to BLS and ACLS guidelines. Must follow all policies related to patient care, laboratory testing, and equipment maintenance.
