Job Description:

Arete Direct LLC is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner looking for motivated Driver Helpers to join our team to deliver Amazon packages to customers in our community. We are seeking hard-working, reliable candidates who are team oriented and demonstrate exceptional customer service. This job is perfect for candidates looking for an active work environment and who thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere. Immediate openings for Seasonal and Temporary positions are available. Location: Based out of Amazon Delivery Station DBO7 at 161 Lower Westfield Road, Holyoke MA 01040

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Job Type: Seasonal, Temporary

What You’ll Do:

As a Driver Helper, you will ride along in an Amazon Branded box truck and support the driver in delivering packages. Your responsibilities include:

Loading and unloading packages - (320-400 packages including small boxes, envelopes and oversized boxes)
Handling large and bulky items using proper equipment (team lift may be required; weight of packages do not exceed 50lb)
Interacting with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
Working 2-4days per week up to 6 days during peak season, up to 10 hours per day (including breaks)

What You’ll Need:

Eligible to work in the U.S
At least 18 years of age
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test

Physical Demands: This position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and standing.

Work Environment: The work environment is fast-paced and involves both indoor and outdoor conditions.
