Overview Interventional Cardiologist Prime Healthcare – Central Maine Medical Center Lewiston, Maine Position Overview Prime Healthcare and Central Maine Medical Center are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a growing cardiovascular program in Lewiston. This opportunity offers the ability to practice within a collaborative, physician-focused environment while serving a broad regional patient population across central Maine. The incoming physician will join an established cardiology team with access to advanced cardiac services, experienced clinical support staff, and a strong referral network. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including coronary angiography, PCI, and coronary stenting Provide inpatient consultative services and outpatient cardiovascular care Collaborate with cardiologists, hospitalists, APPs, intensivists, and ancillary staff Participate in shared call coverage schedule Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance with quality standards Support evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited institution Completion of accredited Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Maine Excellent communication and team collaboration skills New graduates and experienced physicians welcome to apply Pay Transparency CMH actively promotes diversity in its workforce at all levels of the organization.
