Enterprise AI Prompt Engineer Consultant

Recco Consulting Inc.

About Recco

Recco is a global enterprise application consultancy specializing in guiding medium and large organizations through complex digital transformation initiatives. We bring together deep vendor expertise and business leadership to help enterprises align technology platforms with strategic growth objectives. Our approach blends prescriptive guidance, rapid evaluation, and practical implementation strategies to accelerate decision-making and maximize ROI.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced consultant or consulting-oriented technologist to lead generative AI product evaluation, demonstrations, and advisory engagements with enterprise clients. This engagement focuses on analyzing and comparing enterprise AI platforms, articulating business impact, and guiding clients toward value-driven adoption.

You will design and refine prompts and usage scenarios, assess platform capabilities, and deliver consultative recommendations based on side-by-side product analysis. Additionally, you will support client-facing demonstrations and produce clear, outcome-focused deliverables such as solution assessments, competitive comparisons, and business value summaries.

You'll work as part of a small, high-performing consulting team where collaboration, communication, and adaptability are as important as technical expertise

This is a remote, long-term consulting engagement through June 2027, with mutual option to extend in one-year increments.

Scope of Consulting Services

  • Conduct structured, consultative evaluations of enterprise generative AI tools (e.g., Anthropic Enterprise, ChatGPT Enterprise, Google Gemini Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot) with a focus on business use cases and practical applicability.
  • Develop and refine prompts and usage scenarios to demonstrate how generative AI can support daily work, decision-making, and process efficiency - rather than engineering-level testing or development.
  • Perform side-by-side product comparisons to highlight differences in capabilities, strengths, limitations, workflows, connectors, and enterprise readiness across platforms.
  • Analyze and synthesize observed outputs and behaviors across tools to articulate trade-offs, differentiators, and recommended use cases for clients. Evaluations should reflect structured, repeatable methodology — not casual usage — and produce defensible, client-ready conclusions.
  • Prepare and deliver client-facing product demonstrations tailored to use cases, industry requirements, and business outcomes.
  • Translate platform observations into clear advisory outputs, including comparison matrices, executive-ready summaries, prompt libraries, and demonstration narratives.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams while independently managing priorities and client needs.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis projects such as competitive research, agent capability reviews, and prompt-output comparisons to inform client recommendations.

Consultant Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in enterprise application consulting, sales engineering, enterprise technology evaluation, product management, pre-sales, customer success manager for an enterprise application, or technical product marketing - or demonstrated equivalent through independent consulting, technical entrepreneurship, or hands-on AI platform work at scale.
  • Prior experience delivering advisory or consulting engagements in an enterprise environment.
  • Proven ability to translate technical findings into business insights, recommendations, and client-ready deliverables.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and administering enterprise AI platforms, including tenant setup, security settings, permissions, and data governance across tools like M365/Copilot, Google Workspace, or similar environments.
  • Experience using and evaluating enterprise generative AI platforms, including prompt design and output analysis in business or consulting contexts.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, including presenting to technical and business audiences.
  • Understanding of connectors, integrations, and enterprise system architecture.
  • Ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly within a dynamic consulting environment that can change on a frequent basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Independent or freelance AI consulting with enterprise client exposure, or founder/operator experience leading client-facing technology engagements.
  • Experience supporting enterprise buying cycles or technology evaluation.
  • Background developing solution assessments, PoCs, or demo frameworks for enterprise stakeholders.

Compensation & Logistics

  • Remote role, west coast time zone, Seattle preferred.
  • Full-time contract through June 2027 with option to extend.
  • Paid monthly based on accumulated hours.
  • Hourly rate: $130-$150/hr, commensurate with experience.
  • Benefits: As an independent contractor (1099), no employee benefits are provided. Contractor is responsible for their own health insurance, retirement planning, taxes, and business expenses.
