As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to maintain a secure environment for visitors, staff, and facilities. You will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, vendors, and event attendees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government sports and recreation facilities, parking areas, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, credential verification, and direction of guests in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
