LEASING AGENT – AFFORDABLE HOUSINGEvergreen Real Estate is hiring an experienced AFFORDABLE Leasing Agent to join our team!New luxury community located in the heart of Downtown Nashville,TN.We are looking for a Leasing Agent with Affordable Housing experience who is organized, dependable, and enjoys working with residents and prospective residents.Position ResponsibilitiesLease apartments and assist with maintaining occupancyRespond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in personGreet prospective residents and conduct property toursProcess rental applications and supporting documentationComplete income certifications and recertificationsMaintain accurate resident files and leasing recordsVerify income and other eligibility documentationFollow Affordable Housing program requirements and guidelinesAssist with LIHTC housing programsPrepare and process lease paperworkCommunicate with residents regarding leasing requirements and documentationFollow up with prospective residents throughout the leasing processAssist with resident move-ins and move-outsMaintain organized and up-to-date filesWork closely with property management and maintenance staffHelp address resident questions and concernsAssist with resident retention and maintaining a positive community environmentFollow company policies and Fair Housing requirementsMaintain confidentiality of resident informationProvide professional and friendly customer serviceQualificationsPrevious Affordable Housing experience required or strongly preferredExperience with LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, or other income-restricted housing programsPrevious leasing or property management experience preferredKnowledge of Affordable Housing compliance and certification requirementsStrong attention to detailGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesStrong organizational and record-keeping skillsProfessional and dependableComfortable working with residents from diverse backgroundsBasic computer skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbout Evergreen Real EstateYou will join a dedicated organization; one that takes pride in both our employees and the services we provide.If you have Affordable Housing experience and are looking for an opportunity to join a new luxury community in Downtown Nashville, we encourage you to apply!
