Day Shift: 7A-7P

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery/Antepartum unit will provide high-quality care for patients during labor, delivery, and antepartum periods. The nurse will manage high-risk antepartum patients and provide support during C-sections and other related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to laboring patients with a ratio of 2:1.
• Assist in the OBED with a ratio of 3:1.
• Monitor antepartum patients with a ratio of 4:1.
• Participate in surgical procedures in the OR with a 1:1 patient ratio.
• Administer medications and treatments as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) certification.
• Experience in labor and delivery, antepartum care, and C-section circulation.
