Human Resources Manager
A well-established cosmetic construction company is seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead and manage all HR functions across the organization. This role is ideal for a confident, people-focused leader who understands the fast-paced nature of construction and can balance compliance, culture, and operational needs. The HR Manager will serve as a strategic partner to leadership while supporting employees across office and field teams.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Partner with leadership to develop, implement, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support workforce planning, training initiatives, and employee engagement across multiple job sites.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- In-depth knowledge of HR compliance, labor laws, and construction workforce practices.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, approachable, and capable of building trust with both field and office employees.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an HR Manager or senior HR professional, preferably in construction or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, safety standards, and HR compliance.
- Experience supporting both hourly field staff and salaried office employees.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, payroll coordination, and Microsoft or Google-based tools.
