Specialty/Senior Representative - Cardiovascular - Overland Park, KS

Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative for its cardiovascular sales territory covering Kansas cities including Overland Park, Lawrence, and Topeka. The role involves promoting cardiovascular products to medical professionals, managing customer relationships, and driving sales while providing clinical product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical product knowledge to medical professionals and communicate Amgen cardiovascular product benefits
• Achieve territory sales targets through branded messaging, educational programs, and in-person/virtual engagement
• Build and maintain customer relationships, customize interactions based on needs, and manage reimbursement issues
• Analyze sales activities and territory performance; develop territory plans with District Manager
• Share best practices with colleagues and demonstrate sustained passion for patient impact throughout sales cycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience OR High School diploma/GED with 6 years sales experience
• For Senior role: 3+ years sales and/or clinical healthcare experience; higher education requirements than Specialty role
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry sales experience preferred
• Product or hospital sales experience in relevant specialties such as cardiology, nephrology, oncology, or rheumatology
• Local market knowledge and established territory relationships preferred
• Strong planning, business acumen, communication, and relationship-building skills

Compensation: Specialty Representative: $89,816–$121,602 annually; Senior Specialty Representative: $109,631–$148,000 annually
