We are seeking someone who can provide leadership and targeted medication education and rehabilitation services to individuals with mental illness and their families.

You will need:

• Full Vaccination against COVID-19 – CA required.
• Licensed Psychiatric Technician – Preferred
• Licensed vocational nurse - Required.
• Two + years working in a mental health setting – Required.
• Two + years in handling medication in a residential setting.
• We compensate you for your accomplishments and talents! Other qualifications, certifications, and degrees including AA, and BA earn you more $$ so let us know! – preferred.
• Great attitude - required.
• Experience working in behavioral health or in residential care - preferred.

Your responsibilities include:

• Providing direct care services within the scope of practice and completing required documentation as assigned.
• Executing patient care responsibilities consistently in the absence of a physician, performing staff duties whenever and wherever required, and promptly responding to on-call emergencies.
• Meeting and consulting with the Medication Services Director regarding the client's progress and service/coordination plan.
• Providing assessment and intervention in response to client crisis, including necessary follow-up, using appropriate consultation. In addition, it provides appropriate consultation and backup to support other staff in responding to client crises.
• Participating in care management of the team and assisting the psychiatrist in helping meet client needs and improve client functioning.
• Completing clinical records and other required documentation following agency, Payer, and regulatory requirements, utilizing paper or computer technology as required.
• Advising and consulting with the clinical team on patient care, preparing and submitting reports as required, and maintaining related statistics as directed.
• Maintaining current knowledge in nursing through attendance at various events, related publications or articles, and membership in professional organizations.
• Participating in staff program and facility training as assigned.
• Performing emergency first aid and CPR in emergencies as needed.
• Participating in emergency drills and following emergency procedures.
• Mandated abuse reporter.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

The pay range assigned to this role is based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
