Department Info The Terumo Interventional Systems division (TIS) provides high‑quality, cutting‑edge solutions for cardiac and vascular surgery, and interventional procedures performed inside blood vessels. We pursue therapies that minimize physical burden on patients. We offer diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for Interventional Cardiology (IC), Peripheral Intervention (PI), and Interventional Oncology (IO). Job Summary As a Product Specialist in our Italian sales department, you will promote our CARDIOLOGY portfolio. Your goal is to support and initiate sales in targeted accounts by providing technical expertise and market insights. You will support product education, specialized technical training, and insight in the proper use of specialty medical devices in selected procedures. You will often operate within a clinical and/or surgical/cath‑lab environment. The geographical focus is Italy, expanding to Greece and Cyprus. You report to the CARDIO Sales and Marketing Manager, Emanuela Trecci, and will work closely with the Marketing Manager, Product Specialists, and Area Managers. For this position we are looking to hire an Italian national who is legally entitled to work in Italy with excellent communication skills in both Italian and English. Job Responsibilities Product Expertise Understand product specifications and market positioning. Understand pathologies, therapeutic fields, and medical procedures related to the product portfolio (A2C, stents, micro‑cath, PTCA guide wires, balloons, etc.). Sales & Technical Support Assist the Sales & Marketing team in preparing the annual business plan and tenders. Assist HCPs in the appropriate use of the product portfolio, and collect and communicate market feedback. Ensure dealers, distributors, and agents have up‑to‑date knowledge and training on the product portfolio. Follow‑up on product quality‑related complaints. Promotional Activities Propose promotional activities in full compliance with company provisions. Support the team, especially the Marketing Manager, in organizing congresses and mono‑sponsor courses. Participate in congresses, courses, and other promotional activities to ensure effective promotion of our products and transfer of technical information. Train internal and external stakeholders. Give insightful product training courses to sales colleagues, distributors, agents, HCPs, and others. Profile Description Preferably a degree in Biomedical Engineering or Economics. Experience in interventional cath‑lab or clinical environments (e.g., nurse, technician, radiographer) is also considered. Minimum of 2–3 years of work experience, preferably in a cardiovascular or similar role. Excellent technical product understanding, communication skills, and customer engagement ability. Professional fluency in English. Willingness to travel 3 days a week and travel as required for the role.
