Associate Director, Change Management

Strategic leader for R&D Quality Change Management at a pharmaceutical company, responsible for designing and maintaining enterprise-wide QCM systems, governance structures, and regulatory compliance. Leads a global network of subject matter experts and serves as primary advisor to R&D stakeholders on change management practices.

Responsibilities

Serve as strategic owner of global R&D Quality Change Management system, driving compliance and excellence
Design and continuously improve quality systems, standards, practices, and tools aligned with regulatory expectations
Establish and maintain governance structures ensuring consistent identification, assessment, approval, and monitoring of changes
Lead and mentor global network of QCM subject matter experts, fostering collaboration and best practice adoption
Represent company during Health Authority inspections, defending QCM practices and policies

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline, life sciences, engineering, or related field
Minimum 8 years pharma/biotech industry experience or 5+ years with advanced degree, focused on quality change management
Proven leadership in matrixed, cross-functional environments with influence without direct authority
Extensive hands-on QCM experience across clinical, pharmacovigilance, preclinical, or manufacturing domains
Deep knowledge of global regulatory frameworks, inspection readiness, and compliance standards
Demonstrated ability to standardize and scale quality processes globally
Strong change leadership with track record navigating ambiguity and transformation
