While working from home, you will engage in virtual therapy sessions, team meetings, and continue to foster strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to understand clients' needs fully.

  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans with a strong focus on trauma recovery strategies.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to promote healing.

  • Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, offering a supportive space for clients to explore their experiences and emotions.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
  • \n
  • Conduct crisis intervention strategies during acute trauma incidents to ensure client safety.
  • \n
  • Educate clients and their families about trauma management approaches and available resources.
  • \n
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with best practices in documentation and patient record-keeping.
  • \n
  • Engage regularly in case consultations, team discussions, and ongoing education in trauma care to remain at the forefront of your field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with clients facing trauma-related issues, including those impacted by PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our commitment is to facilitate a healing environment where patients are met with empathy and understanding, allowing them to rebuild their lives.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of New York is required.

  • Strong knowledge base and experience with trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
