This position functions in the role of a MRI Technologist in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging. The MRI Technologist performs MRI examinations following protocols under the direct or indirect supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, Lead Technologist, Radiologists, Residents, or Clinical Physicians. The MRI Technologist promotes OHSUs mission statement by delivering high quality, cost effective, family-oriented service. This position helps to create a collaborative environment by integrating education, research and clinical leadership. MRI Technologists work with infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.

Travel Compliance
- Compliance document deadline is one week prior to start and labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing

- Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals nearby
- Copy of Certifications- BLS/ACLS AHA- Traditional AHA/
- Does not accept RQIRelias exams: OHSU requires a score of 85% or more
- Epic experience required to submit
- Background: Will not accept any Background or license hits. OHSU uses the Advanced Reporting system, which conducts a comprehensive, lifetime background review. These checks can be extensive and may take additional time to process.
- Return Staff Policy: must be gone 6+ months
- If a traveler calls into the e-line, if its an RN, they are pushed to a Tuesday start, and if Allied, they are pushed to a Thursday start
- Modules: Modules are non-billable
- RN - average 4.5 hours
- Non-RN - average 2.25 hours
- Modules are completed pre-start, and vary based on profession
- Modules are recorded via transcripts
