Finishing Operator

Finishing OperatorWe are seeking a Finishing Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Plymouth, MN. In this role, you will trim, finish, inspect, and package plastic and aluminum parts to meet customer specifications. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work with hand tools, and comfort in a fast-paced production environment.ResponsibilitiesTrim tabs and excess material from plastic and aluminum parts using hand tools.Sand, polish, measure, and finish parts to meet quality standards.Inspect parts for defects and perform rework when necessary.Assemble and finish products according to production requirements.Count and package completed parts according to customer specifications.Enter production and process information into the computer system.Verify order quantities and product specifications before releasing finished work.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Work independently while contributing to team production goals.Lift and move materials up to 40 lbs.Required QualificationsMinimum 6 months of manufacturing or production experience.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.Basic computer and calculator skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Experience using hand tools such as utility knives, grinders, sanders, and pliers.Strong attention to detail and quality.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience as a Finishing Operator, Machine Operator, or similar production role.Experience working with plastic or aluminum products.Familiarity with trimming, sanding, polishing, and finishing processes.Ability to quickly learn new systems and procedures.Flexible with shift schedules.Why Join Us?Brand-new, climate-controlled facility with excellent lighting and a clean work environment.Team-oriented culture with opportunities for independent work.Multiple shift options available.Training provided on internal systems and tools.Opportunity to develop valuable manufacturing and production skills.Contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential.Work EnvironmentModern manufacturing facility in Plymouth, MN.Use of hand tools, grinders, sanders, computers, and calculators.Standing for extended periods.Regular lifting of materials up to 40 lbs.Fast-paced production environment focused on quality and efficiency.BenefitsEligible employees may receive:Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanLife InsuranceShort-Term & Long-Term DisabilityHealth Savings Account (HSA)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Transportation BenefitsPTO, Vacation, and Sick Leave (where applicable)This is a Permanent position based out of Plymouth, MN. The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.40/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
