PRN Specimen Management Specialist

Labcorp seeks a PRN Specimen Management Specialist for their Overland Park facility to support laboratory operations on a per diem first shift basis. The role involves specimen preparation, customer communication, and coordination between lab, clients, and patients.
Responsibilities
- Serve as liaison between laboratory, clients, and patients
- Resolve customer requests via phone, email, and messaging systems
- Review test forms for accuracy and report discrepancies
- Prepare, triage, and accurately label specimens for analysis
- Pack, ship, and store specimen samples as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years specimen processing experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to accurately identify and label specimens
- Proficiency in MS Office and data entry
- Capacity to lift up to 40 pounds
- Pass standardized color blindness test
