Class A Tanker Driver

Edwards Oil, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated, dependable, mechanically inclined, and results-driven person to make a difference for the customers we serve. Our Class A Fuel Transport Drivers are the backbone of our operation and you’ll deliver products to people who depend on our products for everyday life. Class A Transport Drivers at Edwards care about their truck teammates, value nightly home time, can be relied upon for running a set schedule, and can choose from a variety of schedules to meet their job requirements. They should understand basic maintenance procedures, feel comfortable with e-logging systems, and be able to repair truck equipment. They must be highly ethical and ensure their equipment and logs are in compliance with State, Federal, and Local law. Communicate well with other drivers and dispatch Be at least 21 years of age Operate computerized loading systems Enjoy a fast-paced work environment Unafraid to take on a challenge Be able to multi‑task and solve problems quickly and completely Have an ability to think on their feet Work independently or as part of a team Accurately complete daily delivery paperwork Lift up to 50 lbs. and walk/stand for extended periods Respond positively when faced with a problem Work in a safety-conscious environment Be open to hauling a variety of hazardous material products, including ethanol, refined fuels, propane, bio diesel Edwards Oil, Inc. remains a family-owned local business for four generations.
