Day Program

New Day My Way, LLC has recently opened a day program in Trumbull County (Howland). We are currently seeking caring candidates for the position of Day Program Staff/Van Driver. This position would work under the direct supervision of the Day Program Director

Minimum Requirements for Day Program Staff/Van Driver

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid Ohio Driver's License
• Valid Auto Insurance
• Must pass all background checks
• High School Diploma or GED
• Driving record with less than 6 points

Day Program Staff Essential Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Provide supervision of clients while at the program and on outings
  
• Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Participate in all Day Program Activities per Day Program Director

Qualifications for Day Program Staff /Van Driver:

• Previous day program experience
• Previous experience working with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
  
• Ability to work between the hours of 8am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
• Will be required to obtain first aid and CPR certification
• Physically able to lift and potentially carry up to 50lbs, frequently bend, squat, twist and stretch while loading and unloading passengers from vehicles and assisting individuals at the day program.
• Ability to work in an environment where you will be exposed to behaviors and required to physically assistance with client's personal hygiene needs.
