Job Summary:
The location is in Orange, California. This position is for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at an acute care facility. The role involves performing PET scans, bone, brain, and other nuclear medicine procedures. Candidates must bring their California State license on the first day of assignment. The position requires candidates to work days, Monday through Friday, with scheduled shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 4:00 AM to 10:00 PM, depending on the week. Candidates need to have a minimum of two years of experience in nuclear medicine.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Shifts are 8 hours each, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, starting at 8:00 AM and ending at 4:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM on call shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Two years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, California State license, certifications including BLS, NMTCB, ARRT Nuclear Medicine, and ARRT Radiologic Technology.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, particular familiarity with adult ICU, and prior experience performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures such as PET scans, liver scans, and perfusion studies.
• Additional Information: Location is within 50 miles, suitable for local candidates. Candidates must include RTO requests upfront and be willing to float within the state as necessary. References covering one year of work within the last three years are required. A current LA fire card within the last 30 days is needed.
