The Scheduler/Project Controls Coordinator will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules and cost controls for data center construction with liquid chip cooling system implementation. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, or a similar role, preferably in data center construction or technology infrastructure projects. Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and project management tools (e.g., Procore, Smartsheet). Strong understanding of cost control principles earned value management, and risk analysis. Knowledge of liquid chip cooling systems or advanced data center cooling technologies is a plus. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, or CCP are preferred but not required. Other important requirements: Pre-employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies. Must provide own steel-toed work boots; other PPE will be supplied. Must be able to reliably commute to the work site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in project scheduling and controls within complex, technology-driven environments. Schedule Development & Management - Create and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent software, incorporating all phases of data center construction and liquid chip cooling system integration. - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. - Monitor schedule progress, identify delays, and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. Cost Control & Budget Tracking - Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals and liquid cooling technology requirements. - Track project costs, analyze variances, and provide regular reports to leadership on budget performance. - Support cost forecasting and risk analysis to anticipate potential overruns or savings. Risk Management & Reporting - Identify potential risks to project timelines and budgets - Prepare and distribute progress reports, dashboards, and KPIs to stakeholders, highlighting schedule adherence, cost performance, and project risks. - Facilitate schedule and cost review meetings to ensure alignment across teams. Collaboration & Coordination - Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams - Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to align delivery schedules for cooling equipment and components. - Support change order management, ensuring all changes are documented and incorporated into schedules and budgets. Process Improvement - Continuously improve scheduling and project controls processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Stay updated on industry trends, particularly in liquid chip cooling and data center construction, to incorporate best practices into project planning.
