Job Summary

Responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation of overhead, jib, and gantry crane systems. This role also supports system modifications, upgrades, and overall equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine monthly crane inspections to ensure compliance and safety
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and mechanical crane systems
• Diagnose and resolve issues with AC/DC drives, motors, and control systems
• Support crane modifications, upgrades, and installations
• Operate mobile equipment including forklifts, telehandlers, man lifts, and overhead cranes

Required Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining AC/DC drives and PLC-controlled electrical systems
• Strong understanding of AC/DC motor theory
• Proven mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated commitment to safety with a solid safety record
• Effective communication skills and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Comfortable working at heights

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience maintaining electrical and mechanical systems within production or manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with radio control systems, PLCs, and AC/DC drives
• Knowledge of installing and aligning motors, brakes, couplings, and gearboxes
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
