Registered Radiology Technologist - General X-Ray

Work Schedule A caregiver in this position works the third shift: Three 10‑hour shifts per week, 10:00 p.m. – 8:30 a.m., including every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) requirements. Responsibilities Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures. Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay. Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS. Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam. Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. Maintain documentation. Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator. Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Registered Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standing. Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred Qualifications One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist. Physical Requirements Standing and walking for extended periods of time. Lifting or assisting patients of varying weight and manipulating equipment daily. Personal Protective Equipment Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay Range Minimum hourly: $29.00 Maximum hourly: $44.50 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education.
