About the Position

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year of experience preferred License: Must hold a valid state license Certifications: ARRT (CT), BLS, SCRQSA (CT) Must-Have: - Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT) - National Board Certification in Computed Tomography - Compliance with South Carolina Clienttion Quality Standards Association - Ability to start IVs and perform contrast media administration, biopsies, and work with PACS systems Description: The position requires a Computed Tomography Technologist who reports to the manager of CT. The technologist performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols. The examinations are conducted on patient populations ranging from infants to geriatrics for interpretation by a physician. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts from Friday to Sunday, 6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. On-call rotation is required from Monday to Thursday among all technologists. The candidate must have experience with inpatient, emergency room, and scheduled interventional cases. The ability to start IVs and perform biopsies is essential. Candidates must be capable of using technical equipment, specifically PACS systems. Compliance with emergency response team assignments during hurricane season is required. A radiation badge is necessary, which must be provided by the agency. Submissions for local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Candidates with pending state licenses will be accepted, provided they have proof of application.
