Pre Processing Tech

Our client, an innovative organization in the plastics and materials industry, is seeking a Pre Processing Tech to join their team. As a Pre-Processing Tech, you will be part of the Research and Development department supporting the laboratory and testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Ironton, OH

What's the Job?

Perform analytical testing on recycled and purified plastics to support R&D projects.
Prepare samples for compositional and mechanical testing.
Keep accurate records of tests performed and samples analyzed.
Assist in lab management activities including waste management, resupply of consumables, and shipping/receiving.
Proactively maintain lab processes and equipment to ensure reliability and consistency.

What's Needed?

Pursuing a B.S. degree in Polymer Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science.
Must have high standards of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Self-motivated, team player, and task-oriented.
Capable of working in a structured environment governed by written procedures.
Proficient in basic computer applications such as email, Microsoft Office, and web-based programs.
