Maintenance Technician - B ShiftAs a Maintenance Technician on the B Shift, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and repair of equipment within our manufacturing facility. You will play a vital role in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment to meet production goals.ResponsibilitiesDisassemble and inspect equipment and components to diagnose and repair failures, and reassemble equipment after maintenance.Perform repair and installation of parts, machines, and equipment, including bearings, gears, power components, and various drive and control systems.Contact equipment manufacturers or vendors for technical support assistance.Record production, repair, and maintenance information, and complete work orders, purchase orders, or maintenance summary reports.Modify, engineer, or fabricate tools and equipment using soldering and welding techniques.Collect and discard worn machine parts and maintain machinery and work areas.Maintain inventory of parts, hardware, and tools, and communicate with vendors for replenishment.Calibrate equipment electronically and mechanically.Assist with spill containment and clean-up.Perform maintenance as per the established preventative maintenance program.Provide backup support for other maintenance shifts or positions as needed.Oversee and perform daily housekeeping duties in the maintenance shop.Follow and comply with all health and safety rules and regulations.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; automotive supplier experience preferred.Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.Experience with robotic cells and automated manufacturing equipment.Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting.Working knowledge of LOTO and industrial safety standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsTechnical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems strongly preferred.2+ years in a supervisory or lead role.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including off-shift support as needed.Why Work Here?Join a supportive and dynamic work environment offering substantial benefits including 80% company-paid health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan with up to 6% company match, and generous PTO of 120 hours in the first year. The B Shift operates from 4:30 PM to 2:00 AM, providing a unique opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Bloomingdale, GA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
