As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Coverage in Avon, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directional support, and follow site protocols for restricted areas and sensitive healthcare spaces.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors, staff, and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of required vaccinations is required for this hospital location.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
