- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in either inpatient or outpatient environments and craft personalized treatment strategies
- Implement physical therapy interventions emphasizing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
- Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes
- Guide patients and their families on therapeutic goals, discharge procedures, and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress, adhering to facility policies and regulatory standards
- Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings and clinical discussions to ensure cohesive and coordinated care
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Must hold state licensure as a Licensed Physical Therapist
- CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory
- Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not required
- Previous experience in a physical therapy setting is strongly preferred
- Ability to treat patients facing complex medical and mobility challenges
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation systems
