Senior FP&A Manager

A growing organization is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A & Strategic Finance to lead financial planning and analysis efforts while partnering with executive leadership to drive strategic business decisions. This highly visible role combines traditional FP&A responsibilities with strategic finance, operational support, and financial modeling to improve business performance and support long-term growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead the annual budgeting process, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts across multiple business units. Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, and business analysis. Analyze monthly financial results, identify key trends and variances, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership. Create dashboards and reporting tools that improve visibility into financial and operational performance. Prepare financial presentations and reporting materials for executive leadership. Evaluate capital investments and strategic initiatives through financial modeling and return analysis (including NPV, IRR, and payback). Partner with operational leaders to understand business drivers, improve project profitability, and support data-driven decision making. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational and financial performance. Identify opportunities to improve FP&A processes, reporting, and financial systems. Support special projects, strategic initiatives, and other financial analyses as business needs evolve. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, consulting, or investment banking. Strong financial modeling skills with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience working with ERP systems is preferred. CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus. A successful candidate is analytical, business-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
