Lauderdale, FLtime type: Part timeposted on: Posted 2 Days Agojob requisition id: R100120388**POSITION: Stagehand -** **Local 500** **THE ROLE**Responsible for assisting with the assembling, disassembling and operation of stage equipment during production.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Load and unload props and materials from truck dock.* Set up lighting, props, and microphones.* Move and rearrange furniture.* Set up risers and musical equipment.* Clean up stage and backstage area before and after performances.* Report to the Union Steward upon arrival to work for an event.* General knowledge and experience in proper handling of all components of theatrical and entertainment tools, equipment, and systems.* Other duties as assigned.**WORKING CONDITIONS*** On Site, Broward County Convention Center* Physical ability to lift and carry heavy loads, walk, stand, sit, crouch, bend, stretch and reach.* Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.* Position is a referent of Local 500 union and is subject to pay referral fee and dues directed by the Local 500 and the work referral system in effect.* This is an hourly position that will be subject to collectively bargained union rules.* This document in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the individual occupying this position.*Legends Global is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer, and encourages Women, Minorities, Individuals with Disabilities, and protected Veterans to apply.
